Tom was born and raised in San Diego making him an expert in the area. He has lived in both the State College area of San Diego and the Escondido area. Tom's wealth of knowledge has helped him close over $200 million in over 400 transactions from 1997 to March 2006, earning the Chairman's Circle Award in 1998 thru 2004, an honor reserved for the top 2% of Prudential Agents nationwide, and the President's Circle Award in 1997, an award reserved for the top 5% of Prudential Agents nationwide.

Tom chose to work for Prudential California Realty when he began his real estate career because he wanted to work for the #1 real estate company in San Diego County. Originally sharing a desk in the highly productive Rancho Bernardo office, Tom's business exploded to where he now has one office in Escondido and another in Rancho Bernardo. His original mentor, Jim and Nancy McNabb, have told him, "The Blue Brothers are our biggest success story ever!!" As marketing specialists, the Blue Brothers focus on all the North County inland communities, but have marketed and sold homes in Central and South San Diego, Ramona, and Oceanside. In his buyer's agent capacity, Tom has helped buyers find homes in all of the North County Inland areas as well as Central and South San Diego, La Jolla, Ramona, Fallbrook, and as far as Temecula in Riverside County! Professional:
Prior to Tom's real estate career he worked in the retail and hospitality sectors, this gives him a wide-breadth of fine tuned customer service experience to draw upon. He began his line of work in customer service as a lead front office clerk and P.B.X operator at the luxury Hyatt Islandia Hotel, located near Sea World in San Diego. After graduation, Tom accepted and held the position of Hotel Assistant Manager and Assistant Computer System Supervisor with the Hotel Intercontinental San Diego, where he assisted the General Manager and Resident Manager directly to ensure the smooth operation of all hotel activities.

In 1986, Tom took his polished customer service skills into the retail arena by working with Fedco Department Store, Safeway Supermarkets, and Smith's Food and Drug Stores. While holding positions with these companies, he was responsible for everything from coordinating the activities and work assignments of 80 full-time and part-time employees, to order writing, timing sales events with vendors, building displays and endcaps, receiving, price control and advertisement setting, assisting customers, and more.

In 1983, Tom received his Applied Bachelor of Public Administration Degree with an emphasis in Administrative Management from San Diego State University. While attending to his studies, Tom also participated in a number of school organizations, accomplished many achievements, and took part in several school activities, such as:

Tom enjoys fatherhood, golf, tennis, basketball, and performing with the San Diego State Pep Band and the Coastal Communities Concert Band.
